Digital Due Diligence (M&A)

Adam developed his experience in the M&A world whilst working for FTI Consulting who 'aqu-hired' the Digimasters employees and assets in 2018.

Adam developed a diligence methodology which focuses on the risk, valuation and growth models of a portfolio company. By analysing the enterprise architecture, business processes, data infrastructure and digital culture of an organisation, Adam has a unique way to support diligence as part of the M&A and integration process.

This methodology is also used to create a business case in transformation programmes outside of the M&A process.

Through Digimasters, Adam has continued to mentor many of his network. With a structured mentoring programme that focuses on career goals, personal branding and wellbeing, Adam has been able to grow many talented individuals to the business leaders they are today.

One of Adam’s great achievements was the formation of Digimasters. With Adam’s experience in large organisations, he found a way to adapt the rigor and structure from enterprise whilst staying nimble and agile as a small start-up over the last 7 years.

Digital Transformation Expert

Adam's largest transformation role was to take on the £12B Digital Transformation of the NHS and the creation of the foundation for the digital patient record. This mammoth transformation taught him many of the lessons he has used in his expert architecting, scoping and delivery of transformations such as:

  • Vodafone UK's NewCo Customer Transformation Programme.
  • The Argos integration into UK retailer Sainsbury's.
  • The launch of transformational products such as the BBC's iPlayer.
  • The integration of Skype into Microsoft.
  • Carveout of Macquarie's Waste to Energy Business Wheelabrator.

Extra-Curricular

Other areas Adam is passionate about include his active public speaking career and advisor. Adam is a regular presenter on the conference circuit and also has two successful podcasts (Digimasters Shorts – experimental Gen AI podcast, and The Digimasters Podcast). Adam also runs a 3D Printing business and Etsy store to aid people with focus issues with toys that are engaging to adults and children alike.
